The Georgia City-County Management Association (GCCMA) is a recognized affiliate organization of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), a professional group comprised of appointed administrators serving cities, counties, regional councils and other local government in the State of Georgia.

Becoming a NBCC Minority Masters Fellow

Daniel Asante is a Graduate Student at the 澳门新普京注册 studying Professional Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. While pursuing his master's degree, he works in the Department of Multicultural Achievement as a Graduate Assistant for the AAMI program. In this role, he works to increase retention, progression, and graduation rates for African American students at the 澳门新普京注册. Daniel was recently selected for the 2024 National Board of Certified Counselors' (NBCC) Minority Fellowship Program for Mental Health Counselors. As a NBCC Minority Masters Fellow, Daniel will be able to provide leadership to the counseling profession through education, research, and practice benefiting vulnerable underserved consumers. He will also partake in national training events throughout the year, receive professional development opportunities, and gain access to other masters and doctoral students, professional counselors, and counselor educators.
